Reporting to the CFO, this Group Financial Controller role offers a great opportunity to get heavily involved in the day-to-day financial operations as well as work on the longer-term strategy of the group alongside the CFO and PE House.

Description
The key responsibilities for this exciting Group Financial Controller role based in Lancashire (with flexible working) are as follows:
* Weekly and monthly financial reporting
* Periodic forecasts, annual budgets, and 3 Year strategic plans
* Preparation of Executive presentations
* Involvement in corporate activity, funding, refinancing & ESG
* Lead for Group Audit and statutory reporting including tax
* Liaise with PE House, Credit Insurance & Banks (UK & PL)
* Drive working capital reduction across the Group
* Ensure timely processing of all payroll elements
* Ensure timely/accurate processing of all transactional accounting
* Review and develop accounting systems. Propose upgrades
* Develop corporate policies and a system of controls
* Ensure site teams are compliant with set internal controls
* Lead the finance team and deliver operational finance excellence
* Support M&A activity and integrate new acquisitions
* Regular site visits to support site finance lead
Profile
The successful candidate for this brilliant role will be:
- An ACA/ACCA-qualified accountant who has extensive audit and industry experience
- Ideally have some prior manufacturing sector / multi-site experience
- If you do have any prior knowledge of any shared service centre functions that would be useful but not essential
- Able to work in a fast-moving, ever-evolving business environment
- Looking to partner with private equity backers to accentuate the growth & success of the business
- A strong 'people person' with gravitas & confidence to liaise with the CFO & PE house, as well as mentor the team to success
Job Offer
