This is a great opportunity for anyone who wants to work in real estate valuations for a large consultancy. You will join an exciting small team within the comfort of a large organisation undertaking real estate valuations. The role primarily entails assessing 3rd party RICS valuations for year-end audit purposes. The work itself can be fascinating as it is so broad in nature covering traditional and alternative asset classes from Offices & Retail to Infrastructure & Care Homes.

A look into the role  

As Assistant Manager within our team, you will: 

  • Act as primary point of contact for departmental queries monitoring the real estate inbox and managing valuation work that comes through.
  • Assist the Managers on RICS Red Book Valuations for financial reporting purposes
  • Research, Analyse and Present a range of property data using the relevant databases
  • Liaise and collaborate with various internal departments as well as external consultants
  • Compile reports for the internal audit teams
  • Have a keen interest in Real Estate, Valuations, RICS and completing the APC
  • Attend meetings with the managers and be keen to lead discussions

 

Knowing you’re right for us  

Joining us as an Assistant Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is to have:

  • Interest in developing a good working knowledge of Real Estate and the RICS Red Book
  • Interest in working in a professional service environment
  • Strong attention to detail and be focused on delivering high-quality work and analysis
  • Self-motivated and proactive
  • Good IT and communication skills, adaptable and able to deal effectively with a range of clients and internal teams

 

It would be great if you had some of the following skills, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way.  

  • Previous professional experience
  • Relevant Real Estate Degree or Masters
  • Comfortably work independently and within a team
