Newly created role in a fast-paced and growing technology business. This is a varied role, suitable for someone seeking their first move into industry, or someone looking to take the next step in their industry career. It is a varied reporting role, with ad hoc analysis and project work, and involvement in ongoing process improvement and development.

My client is a large and fast-paced technology business, who have seen significant growth over the past couple of years. They offer exposure to a full finance function, and the opportunity to really make your mark in the team and liaise with multiple senior stakeholders within the business.

Description

As Management Accountant, your duties will include:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, providing appropriate commentary for any material variances
  • Support on ad hoc projects and financial analysis
  • Understanding detailed elements of revenue to ensure accuracy and completeness of customer billing
  • Analyse and challenge business performance
  • Support the Commercial Finance team on bids and tenders
  • Support the Group FP&A function with financial insights and variances to allow accurate budgets and forecasts
  • Continuous process development and improvement

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with an ability to work with stakeholders at all levels
  • Commercial awareness and ability to see the bigger picture
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Analytical skills and close attention to detail

Job Offer

In return, the client is offering a competitive salary c£40-45k + wider package. They are operating a hybrid working pattern, with a blend of office and homeworking.
