The In House Indirect Tax Advisory Manager will be responsible for project-based work across a range of jurisdictions and ultimately contributing to the future growth of the business

This is a large and growing retailer based in Manchester. The business has ambitious growth plans and is looking for an Indirect Tax specialist to support this
Description
The successful In House Tax Advisory Manager will be responsible for:
- Supporting the business in respect of its on-going activities and specific projects across a variety of jurisdictions
- Advising the business on key changes in Indirect Tax legislation
- Carrying out technical analysis in respect of key areas, e.g. the impact of the UK / EU e-commerce provisions
- Reviewing and updating the VAT liability of the group's wide ranging product file
- Supporting the team on interactions with tax authorities globally
- Developing and delivering Indirect Tax training and other support materials to the broader business
- Building relationships with external advisors, including requesting and implementing advice, as required
Profile
The successful In House Indirect Tax Advisory Manager will be/have:
- ACA / CTA qualified or a background in Indirect Tax with over 4 years experience
- Previous Indirect Tax experience, ideally with retail experience
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
- Able to take the initiative and work within a team in a fast paced environment
Job Offer
The successful In House Indirect Tax Advisory Manager will receive:
- Competitive salary circa £55,000 - £70,000
- Bonus scheme
