Job Details

Responsible for analysing key financial information to provide feedback that will aid managerial planning and commercial decision making, that will ensure future growth and profitability of the company.

This will be completed by development of key stakeholder relationships, identifying profit improvements in partnership with the business, adding value through process and system innovation and supporting the business with commercial advice.

My client is a leading global medical multi-site manufacturing organisation with offices in South Wales.

Description

  • Business partnering with senior stakeholders within the business (Local and group)
  • Key Business partner for the Operations team
  • Provide accurate and sound management reporting to assist with key decision making
  • Analytically review and interpret the monthly financial information to assist business profitability and growth
  • Budgeting & quarterly forecasting
  • Capex and fixed asset management and reporting
  • Monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations fully investigating and reconciling
  • Support on monthly processes and routines
  • Review accounting processes and practices and identify/ implement, where necessary, improvements to ensure efficient financial operations.
  • Inter-company management & reconciliations.
  • Ensure compliance with all financial regulations.
  • Working closely with the Financial Controller and Director of Finance on routine and ad hoc activities.

Profile

  • The ideal candidate will be a qualified Accountant (e.g. CIMA, ACCA, ACA)
  • Experience in developing key stakeholder relationships and working in closely in business partnerships.
  • Experience in a manufacturing Finance function
  • Commercial awareness
  • Strong excel skills.
  • Ability to explain financial performance to non-financial management
  • Ability to analyse financial data
  • Strong communication skills at all levels.
