A listed global leader in technology with a large finance function in Manchester, this US listed group has shown regular and consistent growth, alongside achievable near-future plans, it is an exciting time to join the business.

Your new role
Supporting the Group Financial Controller and senior management team, you will manage the monthly reporting process in addition to the group consolidation of the financial statements at year end. In this role you will consistently look for ways to improve the financial control framework and implement an effective testing platform to effectively manage risk to ensure compliance in this regulated environment. Alongside this you will support M&A projects and manage a team in this role with a number of direct reports supporting you on the completion of these duties.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with sound and fundamental accounting knowledge looking to make their first move from practice. You should have strong stakeholder management skills, high attention to detail and a passion for accounting principles and financial reporting. Alongside this you will have experience of auditing a range of businesses and a strong understanding risk and control frameworks. Furthermore, experience of managing a team is a desirable.
