Your new company
You will be working for a private equity backed leisure business based in Central London, with operations all around the world. The company is known for hiring impressive finance professionals and they offer an excellent promotion path. The business is made up of various entities and this role takes ownership of the German function. The business has a really flexible approach to working in terms of days in the office and working hours.
Your new role
You will report to the Financial Controller and sit in a broad finance role, with key responsibilities including:
- Taking ownership of the German finance function
- Management & financial accounts preparation
- Taking ownership of the budgeting & forecasting for the entity
- Business partnering with Sales and Operations teams
What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACA qualified accountant from a large accountancy practice. You must be able to speak fluent German as you will be regularly interacting with employees in Germany. You will have excellent communication skills and a highly commercial mindset.
