First Time Mover from Practice (Manager Level) - Financial Controller - Manufacturing Business - £60,000

Your new company
A leading, well-established manufacturer based in Manchester. An exciting PLC looking to grow its finance team with a Financial Controller. This business will provide an excellent opportunity for a first-time mover from practice to progress their career as the business continues its period of consistent growth.

Your new role
As Financial Controller you will report into the Financial Director and work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to provide accurate financial information across all departments. You will be tasked with monthly management accounts, preparing annual financial statements including consolidation, assisting the Financial Director with tax returns, preparing UK VAT returns and compliance. Further duties include; assisting with administration of the pension scheme, management of company vehicles and supporting the accounts and costings department.

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this role, you will be a fully qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) with sound and fundamental accounting knowledge. Further skills required for this role include strong communication skills in order to liaise with people at varying levels of seniority across the business. You will be a first-time mover from manager level in practice looking to make your first step into industry. Preferable experience includes working with clients in the manufacturing industry.
