We are pleased to be working with a growing company based in North Cambridge that forms part of a wider, forward-thinking organisation. They are looking for a Finance Manager to lead the financial and operational activities of the business.
Your new role
Reporting into the Managing Director and loosely reporting into the Group CFO, this varied 'hands on' role will involve:
Managing a team of 2 Finance/Admin Assistants, Maintaining the Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable functions of the business, managing cashflow, processing company Payroll, managing monthly/quarterly interactions with HMRC (VAT Returns/PAYE/CIS), running the month end process and generating monthly management accounts as well as supporting budgeting and forecasting.
This role will also involve managing the office as well as taking responsibility of the HR function of the business.
What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in managing people and will have worked in worked within a SME finance environment. You will need to have a strong understanding of all aspects of the accounting function and ideally will be well versed in Sage and Excel.
What you'll get in return
This role is offering £40,000 - £44,000 plus additional benefits. Although this role is initially 100% office based there is the opportunity to work from home further down the line.
