Hazlewoods Corporate Finance team provide specialist advice to small and mid-market businesses on a wide range of transactions including business acquisitions and disposals, due diligence, business valuations and raising finance for expansion.
The team has grown significantly over the last 12 months and now comprises five Partners and more than 40 professionals, with further expansion plans for 2022. With record-breaking results in 2021, after advising on transactions worth more than £1 billion, it’s an exciting time to join our growing team in Cheltenham.
The right person will:
Oversee lead advisory assignments with a typical transaction value of up to £30 million
Manage sales mandates from initial engagement to completion, including (Partner-led) negotiations and client relationship management
Attend business development meetings, approach potential buyers and develop the firm’s offering to new target markets
Conduct meetings with clients and potential acquirers, as well as due diligence meetings
Supervise the sales process, act as primary point of contact for both seller, buyer and respective advisers and ensure project milestones are met on time
Advise clients on acquisition and disposal advisory mandates, including purchase price mechanic
Prepare and review business valuations and Information Memoranda
Oversee due diligence streams / ensure information provided is complete
Review financial aspects of Sale and Purchase Agreements, including purchase price mechanism, accounts warranties, completion accounts and deferred / earn out schedules
Prepare funds flows / estimated balance sheets
Review completion accounts
Prepare financial modelling for the purposes of raising finance
