Hazlewoods Forensic Accounting team bring legal disputes to a swift conclusion, providing the right professional advice from the early stages of a case.
We are looking for a qualified accountant to work directly with the Forensic Partners on varied and complex cases. This is an exciting opportunity to join a respected team of highly experienced individuals and add real value to a rapidly expanding department at Cheltenham.
The leading partners in the team are also members of the Academy of Experts, the Expert Witness Institute, the Compulsory Purchase Association and Resolution – first for family law.
The right person will:
Work on a variety of forensic accounting cases, including matrimonial disputes, commercial disputes, compulsory purchase orders, professional negligence claims and transaction disputes. Assist with fieldwork and report writing duties. Provide in-depth financial analysis and interpretation. Present findings and feedback to the wider team and clients. Provide litigation support and present findings to be used as trial evidence. Contribute to the continuing development of the firm’s forensic accounting services. Attend networking events, actively contribute to new business development and develop your own network of referrers; and join appropriate groups such as Resolution and the Compulsory Purchase Association.
You will thrive in this role if:
You are ACA/ACCA qualified with experience in forensic accounting. You have experience of business valuations and loss of profit claims. You are highly organised and able to manage multiple cases and sensitive information. You communicate effectively with strong report writing skills. You have an enquiring mind with the ability to present complex information in a comprehensible way. You have experience in the management, coaching and development of junior members of the team.
