About the Business Performance Improvement Practice…

Specialising in helping organisations operationalise and execute solutions to enhance business performance and drive sustainable growth. Focussing on process adjustments to major organisational change, process excellence, financial transformation, intelligent automations and program assurance.

About the Role...
As a manager you will be responsible for serving clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects. You will develop lasting relationships with client personnel and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery. You have the responsibility of understanding your client's business and demonstrating technical competence in their product group and industry, as well as developing contacts with the business community and service as an ambassador of the firm in the market. You will be working with CFOs leading the transformation of their financial reporting, the organisation, people, process and governance, and the change in technology and automation.

Your responsibilities:

  • Take a leading role in the development of BPI engagement opportunities by managing our work to propose and bid for work.
  • Lead the delivery and management of BPI engagements specifically related to financial accounting and reporting (including GAAP advisory - IFRS/ US GAAP/ UK GAAP).
  • Develop, with the Company's support, existing or new areas of relevant specialism and expertise to differentiate yourself in the marketplace.
  • Manage the firm and client staff in line with their BPI practices for the successful delivery of client engagements.
  • Develop new relationships and work with the Managing Director/ Directors to enhance and run existing relationships in order to maximise the firm's coverage.
  • Liaise with other offices globally to leverage off current contacts and to provide a considered and consistent approach to the market.


The position requires an average of 50% out-of-town travel to client work sites.

What you'll need...

  • Prior consulting experience in Business Performance Improvement / Accounting advisory strongly preferred.
  • Prior management and direct supervisory experience in a team environment.
  • Deep understanding and knowledge of IFRS / US GAAP / UK GAAP / other accounting and reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge and experience of IFRS 9/15/16 is a prerequisite.
  • Prior working experience of IFRS 17 would be advantageous.
  • Proposal and solution playbook creation.
  • Excellent leadership, interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Business development proficiency/exposure.
  • Mentoring and people development capabilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Skills
