  • Assisting with the Purchase Price Accounting in relation to new acquisitions
  • Supporting the preparation of corporate tax provisions, external filings and ongoing UK & US tax projects by liaising with the external tax providers
  • Assisting with the preparation of the month end narrative pack for distribution to the Senior Leadership and the Board
  • Supporting the production of the Group's quarterly & annual reporting in line with lender requirements
  • Supporting the production of statutory IFRS consolidated accounts and UK GAAP (FRS 101 & FRS 102) individual accounts for required entities in an accurate, compliant and timely manner
  • Providing technical analysis and advice across a range of topics (revenue recognition, provisioning, business combinations and similar) in response to ad-hoc queries and to support larger projects

  • Partnering with group treasury and the site finance teams (controllers, accounting & FP&A), in addition to the broader business including legal, business development, PMO, IT and HR departments
  • Working closely with the external audit and tax providers as required

Technical experience:

  • Graduate qualified accountant with strong IFRS technical background (1-2 years post-qual preferred)
