Broad all encompassing financial controllership role with an established business on the south coast

Your new company
A larger SME with a sustainable track record of growth over the last decade seek to appoint a 2nd in command to the Head of Finance in a broad fulfilling role.

Your new role
You will lead the local team in a classic Controllership role with oversight for the monthly management reports and annual statutory accounts. Furthermore you will manage cash flow, run the budgetary and forecasting process and lead the day to day team to ensure that continuous improvement and best practice is upheld. You will control capital expenditure, all external returns and work on a range of projects across the finance function as a whole.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant (or equivalent) with broad financial skills which encompass both technical and commercial accounting. You will demonstrate excellent leadership qualities, attention to detail and a can-do approach which is par the course in a busy SME finance function. You will be an effective business partner in order to engage operations on a range of financial topics to drives activities within the business.
