Your new company
Your new company is a global player within the Technology and Software sector, now employing over 10,000 people. The company is a very quick growing one, having only been founded around 20 years ago and already being one of the major players in what is a competitive and fast moving sector.
The company listed around 5 years ago, and have brought Sox in-house over the last 3 years or so - and now require a IT Sox Specialist, to report into the Head of Sox & Controls, based in London.
Your new role
In your new role as IT Sox Specialist - you will report to the Head of Sox & Controls. This role will be all-encompassing within IT Sox and will require you to own the testing of design and testing of operating effectiveness for their Sox Controls from an IT perspective. Further, you will need to conduct IT related SOX controls process walkthroughs and, where necessary; report on findings and propose key controls.
What you'll need to succeed
- IT Sox experience
- Ability to work in an individual role, but work as part of a larger Sox function - which is geographically diverse
- Ability to liaise with, and business partner with, senior stakeholders in both finance and non-finance departments
- Association with a regulatory body (ICAEW, CIA etc.) would be a bonus, but not a pre-requisite
- Good knowledge of IT General Controls and IT Application Controls
