Job Details
You will join us as Head of Finance in our successful and highly regarded charity, Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW). Providing leadership and direction to our Finance Team of ten, you will be joining at an exciting time in the development of the finance department and systems, and its support to the charity.
Head of Finance Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will manage a complex work programme along with competing demands and priorities including the line management of the finance team and the responsibility for delivering organisation wide financial expertise.
Head of Finance Requirements:
Qualified as an accountant, (ACA qualified and relevant professional membership) it is essential that you have extensive knowledge and experience of charity accounting, taxation and financial reporting systems, combined with excellent analytical and presentation skills.
To be successful, you will be progressive and forward thinking with a continuous improvement mind-set. You will be personable, with strong relationship building skills and the confidence to engage with a range of people at all levels within the organisation. Highly motivated and pragmatic, you will have an excellent attention to detail and the ability to take an overarching view in the best interest of the charity.
