Are you an Accounts Senior or Accounts Manager, ideally ACA qualified with at least 3 years experience working in a good quality accountancy firm, looking for a new role with a niche, City based practice firm where you can have high levels of responsibility and work with some very interesting clients, including many music, film, sports and entertainment based clients? If so, this growing niche accountancy practice firm based in a prime location in Zone 1 Central London is looking to recruit an ACA qualified (or a strong QBE) Accounts Senior or Accounts Manager due to impressive growth over the last few years and winning new clients from larger firms. Your role will be varied and will include: managing your own portfolio of clients and being the main pint of contact, preparing statutory accounts from start to finish for Ltd companies and smaller sole traders, corporation tax returns, personal tax, VAT returns and offering clients advise how to improve their business, including offering advice on software packages. You will also be involved with staff management duties and review work of more junior staff prepare. You will be in charge of a small team of 2 to 3 staff. You will work in a newly created role that will provide you with many growth and learning opportunities in the future.
To be considered for this new role (September 2022) you will be a qualified ACA and currently working for a UK based practice firm with experience of the above duties, particularly preparing statutory accounts from start to finish, tax returns and reviewing the work of junior staff. The firm would also consider strong candidates who are qualified by experience / QBE. You will either be working for a small or medium sized firm and looking to step up to a more friendly firm with a better work life balance yet more responsibility and faster progression. Experience of a wide range of software packages would be an advantage but training will be provided if necessary. It is also necessary that you are a team player, and have a strong interest in working with Music, TV and Sport clients, and are eager to help develop a small team filled with enthusiastic and hard working staff.
