Finance Business Partner | £50,000 - £60,000 | Hybrid Working | Oxford
Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join one of the leading software companies. The purpose of this role is to prepare management reporting for the company, including day-to-day financial reporting, KPI tracking, monthly forecast, budgeting, strategic planning. Reporting to VP of Finance and working closely with operational and functional teams.
Your new role
As the successful candidate, your responsibilities will include
- Support all planning and reporting cycles with data-driven analysis
- Analyse the financial and operational results to better understand company performance, determine business drivers and build financial models to support strategic initiatives
- Work closely with Heads of divisions to build annual budgets and forecasts enabling them to identify results, trends and financial forecasts
- Create and implement financial tracking and reporting of the strategic growth initiatives within the Business Unit
- Prepare business cases to support expansion plans, new investment, strategic and other business decisions
- Delivery of competitor analysis, market trends, and commentary to Heads of divisions and functional teams
- Ad-hoc business performance reporting
- Explore and utilise business intelligence tools and dashboard reports to deliver meaningful insights into business performance
- Create systems to prevent errors in data collection and calculations
What you'll need to succeed
To be the successful candidate, you will need:
- Qualified (ACCA / CIMA or ACA) or degree in maths/economics or equivalent
- Demonstrable experience of budgeting, forecasting, valuation and returns
- Proficient Excel modelling skills and PowerPoint
- Strong analytical skills with commercial acumen
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work and interact with all levels of stakeholders
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise in a fast paced dynamically changing environment
