Private Equity Associate

A market leading Global Investment Firm with an established reputation and immense AUM are looking for an ambitious Private Equity Associate to join their team on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

You will provide support to the senior members of the team by working on a combination of secondary and co-investment transaction opportunities, as well as any other investment related initiatives that are undertaken over time. You will play an important role in deal negotiations and will help with the execution of the closing deal documentation. Your financial analysis and modelling skills will be utilised in the process of evaluating private equity investment opportunities, giving you the chance to make a valuable contribution to the team's performance. You will be helping with the preparation of the investment recommendations and will be expected to participate in the discussion of the investment opportunities at Investment Committees. Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws is essential and you will be expected to report any risks and maintain the highest standards of conduct.

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you need to have a minimum of two years of experience in managing the end-to-end deal process from deal origination to execution, either in an investment firm or a bank. You should be able to assess the merits and the risk of investment opportunities effectively and develop an appropriate diligence plan to address any concerns. You will be working in a dynamic team at a global company, so being able to collaborate effectively and deliver results under pressure to tight deadlines is required. Due to the scope of this role, fluency in another European language is advantageous, but not essential.
