Management Accountant - Full time | Permanent | Burnley | £35,000 - £37,000
Your new company
You will be working for a huge retail company out of their head office in Burnley.
Your new role
Due to a current team member moving on the company are looking for a new Management Accountant to join their team. You will be working with 1 other Management Accountant and reporting directly to the Financial Director. Your day to duties/responsibilities will consist of:
- Preparation of monthly Management Accounts
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Year-end preparation and audit
- Supplier payment preparation
- Oversight of HMRC compliance
- Day to day management of accounts office
- Day to day management of bank / CID facility
- Cashflow management
- Purchase ledger management
- Day to day management Nominal Ledger
- Support in the preparation of statutory accounts, tax compliance and audit schedules
- Working on "ad hoc" accounts projects
What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be an experienced management accountant looking to step up to lead role, you should be able to manage multiple accounts, strong excel skills are required, you should have a high level of motivation and a want to succeed. Sage 200 experience is preferred but not essential.

- Competitive salary £35,000 - £37,000
- 29 days paid annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Working hours 0800 - 1600 Monday - Thursday (1/2 hour for lunch) Friday 0800 - 1330
- Company Pension Scheme
- Office annual closure between Christmas and New Year
