Job Details
- A key member of the finance team - the financial accountant is responsible for assisting the financial controller in delivering accurate, compliant and timely financial statements
- A financial partner and advisor to the business including the wider finance team, HR and operational staff

- A listed pharmaceutical business with headquarters based in The City of London as well as offices in Europe
- Turnover of circa £60m
- Growth of 35% YOY
Description
- Preparation of monthly management accounts, profit and loss, and balance sheet for Group entities
- Preparation of monthly P&L reports, including undertaking of variance and margin analysis
- Maintenance of monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Development and implementation of solutions to technical accounting issues
- Work within Finance to provide accurate, relevant and timely information to operational departments
- Working with the wider finance team to drive a culture of commercial analysis, to deliver progressive improvements in margins and cost efficiency
Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Demonstratable analytical skills
- Good communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal stakeholders
- Technically competent and familiar with reporting requirements under IFRG and UK GAAP
- Advanced Excel skills
