Job Details

  • A broad financial accountant role encompassing the production of both statutory and management accounts
  • Reporting to the financial controller, you take a lead on a variety of financial, commercial and operational issues

Description

  • Ensuring the timely and accurate production of corporate monthly management and statutory accounts.
  • Preparing analytical review and analysis on the monthly numbers.
  • Preparation of the daily trading report, which is issued to members of the executive committee, the front desk and to the Operations team.
  • Preparation of the weekly trading
  • Preparation of the weekly cashflow forecast
  • Preparation of fuel exposure including advising, when necessary, operations and traders when there is an exposure if not hedged.
  • Assist Financial Controller to ensure timely and accurate production of monthly and quarterly management report and the yearly statutory accounts.
  • Balance Sheet review and reconciliation including inter-company transactions
  • Assist with the corporate annual budget process and assist with monthly forecast of full year P&L.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant
  • 4-5 years of accounting experience - namely management and financial reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills - able to manipulate data and create vlookups/pivot tables
