Job Details
The Finance Analyst will report directly to the Finance Director, the role is supported by a Group Management Accountant and Finance Manager who oversees the sales/purchase ledger functions.
Client Details
The organisation invests, improves and integrates companies within the construction materials space. Focusing on the precast concrete products industry, which currently comprises 3 companies across the UK.
Description
- Development of reporting packs for all elements of both businesses (sales, production, purchasing etc)
- Partnering with sales & operational leads to ensure we have close control on daily activities (selling prices, production wastage)
- Maintenance of bills of materials for all manufactured products
- Provide recommendations to management team for efficiency's & optimisation's
- Ad-hoc analysis to support Managing Director, Finance Director and General Managers
Profile
- Strong financial and commercial acumen
- High level of proficiency in MS Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively with both finance and non-finance colleagues
- Strong organisational skills and ability to work to tight deadlines
- Experience of manufacturing industry
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
