Job Details
This role is to support the financial reporting cycle to ensure month end accounts are completed in an accurate and timely manner and in line with IFRS/GAAP. You will be a key part of the team implementing a new general ledger system to drive automation, efficiency and continuous improvement throughout the finance function as well as providing business partner support. This is an ideal role for a qualified big practice trained accountant.

Description
- Responsible for accurate accounting of a number of entities including the maintenance of supporting accounting schedules and technical accounting;
- Ensure timely delivery of the monthly financial accounts;
- Implement detailed cost accounting and reporting providing value-added insights and analysis;
- Provide finance business partnership & commercial support;
- Support internal budgeting and forecasting process;
- Support the development and implementation of financial systems and processes; and
- Assist in ad-hoc projects as required
Profile
- Educated to Degree level
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAS, ICAEW, ACCA)
- Audit background with strong technical skill set
- Excellent MS Office skills, in particular MS Excel with an aptitude for analysis.
- Adaptable, personable, and an excellent communicator both written and verbally.
- Able to cope with peak workloads when required.
- Strong work ethic and maintain high standards.
- The ability to work autonomously when required
Job Offer
Salary £45,000 - £65,000
