Job Details
The main remit of this Group Finance Manager will be to take responsibility for supporting the Deputy CFO in maintaining statutory compliance for all companies in the group. You will take care of accounting, financial reporting & group consolidation, as well as some working with senior stakeholders including C-suite looking at special projects including acquisitions.

The key responsibilities for this interesting Group Finance Reporting Manager role are as follows:
- Preparation of Annual Statutory Consolidated Accounts for the Group
- Co-ordination of External Audit
- Monthly/Quarterly Financial Reports
- Monthly Close Process
- Support in the consolidation of budget & forecasts including balance sheet and cashflow preparation
- Ownership of the group's accounting & finance manual
- Offering support to the CFO & Deputy CFO
- Subject Matter Expert - Technical Accounting: Provide training to the finance team on GAAP & technical accounting update & be the main point of contact to research and provide technical accounting support to business
- Ad Hoc - Support key business initiatives from an accounting as well as corporate structuring and acquisition viewpoint
Profile
The successful candidate for this Group Finance Manager will be:
- A fully qualified ACA / ACCA accountant (ideally practice trained, this is preferable but not essential)
- Extremely strong technically, ideally with a knowledge of group reporting/consolidation
- Any exposure/understanding of acquisition accounting is helpful but not essential
- A driven, carer-focused team player looking for a career acceleration
- A strong communicator able to build relationships with colleagues in the UK & Overseas
Job Offer
The successful candidate for this Group Finance Manager role will receive a salary of £75,000 - £80,000 based on experience as well as a range of benefits & career enhancements. Hybrid working available.
