Group VAT Manager - In House Tax - working to the head of tax - based in the west midlands

Description
Reporting to the head of tax you will be responsible for:
- Manage/carry out reporting on all aspects of VAT, and employment taxes, driving improvements in tax compliance, governance, forecasting and reporting
- Provide high quality and timely indirect tax and employment tax advice to the group to ensure we always remain compliant
- Deputise for Head of Tax on indirect tax matters as required
- Develop the tax position of the group by ensuring all available reliefs are claimed correctly and commercial arrangements are structured appropriately
Profile
You should have a proven track record in VAT / Indirect tax gained from working in the professional services or similar in house role.
