Work as a Financial Controller for a PE backed top 20 firm
Your new firm
This private equity backed, top 100 practice are seeking to appoint a new Financial Controller into their in-house finance team. Well established across the North West this role can be based in both Liverpool and Manchester and offers plenty of progression as eh firm is growing both organically and through M&A.This is the ideal role for both a first time mover and an experienced industry professional.
Your new role
As a financial controller you will work closely with the head of finance and be responsible for preparing management accounts and monthly board packs, defining and implementing company accounting processes, driving system and process improvement as well as accounting and nominal accounts analysis and issue resolution. You will play an integral role in the inner workings of the practice as well as the firm's progression through assisting with acquisitions, specifically DD, integration and post deal reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
The firm are seeking an ambitious, fully qualified accountant who has a demonstrated experience with either an accounting practice or within an in-house finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong working knowledge of accounting principles and be well versed in the preparation of financial statements.
