Finance Manager Role - Leading Agricultural Group - Permanent - Moreton-In-Marsh, Gloucestershire - Hays

Hays Accountancy & Finance are partnering with a leading and rapidly growing Agricultural group based in Moreton-In-Marsh, Gloucestershire to recruit for a driven and dynamic Finance Manager. A newly created role due to company growth to support the Financial Director in a number two role. This permanent and varied accounting role will ensure the smooth running of a full range of finance related processes for the group companies including preparing accounts, group reporting, budgets/forecasts, and financial analysis. Your new role

Key duties will involve preparing monthly management accounts and group consolidation, monthly financial reporting by KPI's, along with balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany transfers. You will assist with daily cash flow forecast updates, bi-weekly payment run approvals, analysis of sales/gross margin/customer and product trends, along with communicating/interpreting financial data to non-finance managers. You will support the Financial Director in the budgeting and forecasting processes, assist with the annual audit, development of KPI's and support system/process improvements. You will support the management/development of a small and hands-on finance team that are involved in all purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control duties and be involved in ad-hoc projects/duties for senior management.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this varied and hands-on Finance Manager role you will need experience within a similar position, ideally part-qualified/qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA or qualified by experience with strong MS excel skills and financial systems knowledge. You will have strong communication skills to build relationships at all levels around the business and externally, self-motivated and adaptable, with an analytical working approach. You will be used to managing workloads and meeting time constraint deadlines with key presentation skills. Experience with Group Accounting processes, supervising/developing small finance teams, Sage packages and knowledge of Power BI would be advantageous but not essential.
