Senior Accountant - Team Leader

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial controller, you will be the primary contact for financial reporting of overheads, calculating accruals and prepayments along with distributing reports with analysis to functional directors. Preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts, supporting the functional directors through process. Production of monthly, three-month lookahead cashflow forecast, liaising with Commercial Managers to understand assumptions on cash collection. You will be responsible for leading a team of four finance administrators, ensuring the smooth running of both purchase and sales ledger payments as well as supporting the FC during month end process.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA OR soon to qualify) with industry or audit experience. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to communicate with confidence to both finance and non-finance senior managers. Experience of preparing accounts to trial balance and working to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy. Experience of working with ERP tools such as SAP or Oracle would be an advantage.
