Finance Manager

Broad role for a hands on technically astute accountant

Your new company
An established business, part of a larger group who posted a record year with regards to their profits are in the market to appoint a hands on Finance Manager in a broad and varied role.

Your new role
You will be responsible for producing a range of financial and management reports which provides your internal customers with insight over the performance of the business. You will act as a business partner to commercial managers and support budget and forecasting activities throughout the year. You will play a key role in the management of the month & year end activities and provide leadership / guidance to a small team who work on the financial ledgers. You will have a mindset for continuous improvement and drive efficiency gains where possible.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or soon to qualify) with strong reporting skills and a hunger to stretch your capacity in a supportive environment where there is scope to learn. You will relish working within a division of a larger group and demonstrate leadership qualities to bring the best out of others.
