An opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Manager to join a large PE-backed Education business based in central London.

Client Details

Based in central London, my client is a PE-backed business services group with operations spanning across 20 countries. Established in 2013, the group has grown rapidly with revenues in excess of £500 million. The group is set for further significant expansion in the coming years.

Description

The Financial Reporting Manager will be responsible for:

  • Review and consolidation of month end Group submissions, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow Statement and KPIs.
  • Preparation of month end consolidation entries
  • Preparation of monthly and quarterly investor, lender and rating agency reporting schedules; ad-hoc ONS reporting.
  • Review and consolidation of year end reporting packages and supporting schedules; liaison with subsidiary finance teams to resolve any queries and ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Preparation of Annual Group Consolidated Accounts in accordance with IFRS, including Notes to the Accounts and supporting files.
  • Preparation of UK holding company subsidiary accounts in accordance with FRS 101

Profile

The successful Financial Reporting Manager will have the following credentials:

  • Qualified Accountant (likely practice trained)
  • Experience working within a group finance function ideally in a large, global organisation
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS technical accounting
  • Experience within education and training/business services ideal but not essential
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, smaller head-office environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work 4 days a week from the office

Job Offer

Basic salary circa £75,000 to £85,000 (depending on experience) + discretionary bonus scheme up to 10%
