Audit Assistant Manager required for a leading Top 20 firm in Manchester

Your new company
A UK leading firm with offices based in Manchester City Centre are looking to expand their Audit team with the appointment of an Audit Assistant Manager. The firm has a huge range of clients in their portfolio and includes all areas of business offering you exposure to lots of different industries. This firm prides themselves on offering a tailor made service to their clients, advising on both business and personal affairs.

Your new role
You will be working with a wide range of clients, from Owner Managed Businesses to large international businesses. As an Audit Assistant Manager you will take on a managerial role on some of the firms less complex audits and then act as a senior on the more complex audits, overtime developing your managerial portfolio. You will ensure that you deliver an outstanding service to these clients, as you will be advising on all aspects of their business, and personal affairs. In the main you will focus on audits, and then provide any additional services which your clients require such as accountancy and system reviews . As an Assistant Manager you will mentor and coach the wider team ensuring their work is produced to a high standard and delivered in a timely manner.

What you'll need to succeed
This Top 20 Firm are looking to appoint a recently qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA) who can demonstrate over 12 months experiencing operating as an audit senior . You must be driven by offering the best service available to your clients, ensuring they are kept up to date throughout each project, ensuring that their needs are met, and your service maximised. You must therefore be a dynamic and commercially minded individual, with excellent communication skills. In this role you must easily develop close working relationships with your clients and have a strong commercial acumen.
