Job Details

To be responsible for the management of the financial accounting processes and reporting, the payroll, pensions and accounting systems. To manage the company forecast and budgeting cycles.

Description

  • Complete month end reporting process for group companies, including the monthly reporting pack submission to the board and Strategic Executive management team.
  • Prepare and analyse cost activity data for R&D contracts for invoicing.
  • Completion of parent company, monthly and quarterly accounting packages in accordance with timetable.
  • Complete supporting documentation and quarterly reconciliations to support the accounting packages.
  • Preparation of Statutory Financial Statements.
  • Detailed finance analytic to ensure budget holders are knowledgeable about current and future financial situations in their areas.
  • Completion of any statutory financial reporting and questionnaires.

  • Prepare annual company and department budgets.
  • Control and monitor department forecasts including variance analysis of actual versus budget data for departments.
  • Maintain budgets in the accounting system.
  • Advise budget holders on how to proactively manage their budgets.

  • Process payroll and pensions
  • Process year end payroll data for employees and Government.
  • Advise HR and staff on payroll, tax and National Insurance issues.
  • Prepare and reconcile personal tax information for international assigners and employees who are tax equalised for external taxation advisers.

  • Responsible for ensuring the group complies with PAYE and NI rules.
  • Facilitate the financial elements of employee benefit schemes

Profile

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualification is required

Job Offer

Annual salary of £45,000 - £55,000 plus benefits, hybrid working offered
