Excellent opportunity to join a fast-paced and dynamic business as Financial Accountant, working closely alongside the Finance Manager and Financial Controller. This is a varied reporting role, with the opportunity to really broaden and develop your experience, and a chance to really make your mark in the team from day one.

Client Details

My client are a fast-paced PE backed business, who are in a period of growth. They are a manufacturing business, with a site based in Leeds, and offer a collaborative finance team, with excellent progression and development opportunities for the successful individual.

Description

As Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

  • Assist with the preparation of the period end reporting process
  • Preparation of balance sheet reconciliations in line with company requirements
  • Assist with year-end statutory account and audit process
  • Assist with the preparation for the tax computations for the group
  • Preparation of the quarterly VAT returns for the group
  • Preparation of reports for department heads and analysis where required
  • Support with ad-hoc monthly and quarterly reporting
  • Support with adhoc technical and accounting queries

Profile

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Strong Microsoft Excel Skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous track record of working to deadlines
  • Conscientious and self-motivated
  • Ability to work with high volumes of data
  • Ability to work effectively across multiple teams, an excellent Team Player
