Michael Page are partnering with a PE backed business in Sheffield to recruit a Financial Accountant.

Description

This role focuses on providing support to the Group FC focusing on accurate management and statutory reporting for both the Group and subsequent acquisitions, whilst providing ad hoc support and analysis to the wider business as required.

Responsibilities will include;

  • Prepare and ensure the accurate management reporting of all entities within the Group, in line with the agreed timetable
  • Provide accurate and full supporting documentation for audit purposes, liaising with the external auditors as required.
  • Assist in building and maintaining profit and loss budgets and forecasts for the Group in liaison with Group stakeholders
  • To post accurate financial data on a monthly basis and maintain full support for all journal entries

  • To ensure that all appropriate balance sheet accounts are reconciled to appropriate back up on a timely basis

  • To assist with any due diligence or integration project work associated with bringing new acquisitions into the group as maybe required

Profile

You'll ideally be Practice trained, having a good background and understanding of financial control as well as having the gravitas to be able to partner with senior stakeholders.
