Your new firm
A Top 20 National Firm of Chartered Accountants based in Manchester City Centre are currently ACA / ACCA finalists or recently qualified Chartered Accountants to join their to team to help deliver a pipeline of work for a range of new client wins acquired this year. The Manchester office has seen another record year of growth despite the pandemic which has created these new opportunities within the Audit Team. The firm are currently working remotely and when restrictions lift they will operate a hybrid working model.

Your new role
As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will service a varied portfolio which will include large OMBs, groups, UK subsidiaries, professional services businesses and some N4P clients. Your work will be predominantly focused towards audit (70%) however you will also be involved in the preparation of statutory accounts, some due diligence work and corporate tax computations. You lead the on site relationship with the clients, providing advice and conducting the client meetings alongside the manager. You will also have staff supervisory experience and take responsibility for planning assignments, delegating and reviewing work and supervising junior staff. Initially you will work remotely and when restrictions lift they will operate a hybrid working model.

What you'll need to succeed
The firm is seeking an ACA or ACCA chartered accountant or part qualified accountant who has ideally trained within a split audit and accounts role and is competent in leading audit assignments. You must be able to demonstrate strong communication and leadership skills and have a passion for providing excellent client service. The firm will consider candidates who have come from smaller independent practices who are looking to develop their audit skills.
