Varied and hands on, including projects and process improvement work.

Well established manufacturing business that is part of a wider group.

Description

The role is varied, hands on and involves the following tasks:

  • Assist in the production of timely and accurate Monthly Management Accounts (Including P&L, Fixed Assets Register, Capex Review)
  • Produce timely and accurate weekly/monthly management information and commercial performance reviews
  • Develop reports and analysis to drive forward commercial understanding, business performance and help make commercial decisions on key measures such as customer type, price group, product and mix of supply
  • Control and manage monthly provisions for inclusion in periodic management accounts (Such as Rebates)
  • Provide timely and accurate ad hoc reporting to Senior Management and Group Board members
  • Analysis and reporting of revenue, costs and profitability across product range and customer mix
  • Evaluation of new customers and future business opportunities
  • Support initiatives and drive systems/process to remove manual and repetitive tasks, improve analysis and information for decision making and further developments in line with business strategy
  • Weekly reporting schedules as well as production of weekly sales reports

In addition there are a number of process improvement tasks and projects to support on.

Profile

You will be a qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA or equivalent) and ideally have experience in a manufacturing or related sector.

You will be available at short notice and be a good all rounder, who is hands on, but also can add value in process and system improvement work.

Job Offer

The role offers a salary of £50,000 - £55,000 plus additional benefits such as 25 days holiday and early finish on a Friday.
