Your new company is a household name within the Transport sector, with thousands of employees across the UK - and a Head Office in London. The Internal Audit team is mature and will be an amazing opportunity to develop your skillset across Financial, Operational and Compliance audit fields due to the broad team you will sit in, which is full of specialist Internal Auditors.


Your new role

Your new role would be that of Lead Internal Auditor for this Transport company based in London, reporting to an Internal Audit Manager. The Internal Audit team is mature, and splits into several specialist areas at Manager level. This means you will be in a position to take on a broad range of different audit areas, gaining lots of invaluable experience, under the direction of specialist Managers.

As a Lead Auditor, you will be expected to take on the responsibility of leading Internal Audits, on average around 3-5 per year, which will then set you up to move straight into a Manager grade role (internally or externally) without too much difficulty.

The business is entirely UK based and so no international travel is expected during the tenure of the role. Further, almost all of the Uk travel you will need to do is day trips also, perhaps a few times per year you may need to do an overnight stay; but these are rare.


What you'll need to succeed

• Relevant qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIA etc)
• Experience working within a complex, matrix organisation
• Knowledge of Internal Audit
• Experience leading and/or running end to end Internal Audits
• Ability to live and work in the Uk without restriction or sponsorship
