Interim Management Accountant

An Interim Management Accountant role for a market leading retail business in Manchester.

Your new role
Reporting to the Financial Director, you will be responsible for the preparation of accurate monthly management accounts and commentary, Margin Analysis, Accurate balance sheet reconciliations, VAT return preparation and compliance work including Intrastat and National Statistics. You will also work on the preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts. Carry out preparation work for annual audits and work as part of a team coordinating the audit process. You will also assist with project work and system developments as requested by the Finance Team and FD.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be a fully qualified accountant or finalist, with experience of a similar hands on Management Accountant role, in a fast moving SME environment. You will be highly IT literate, with strong Excel skills and be used to hitting deadlines. You will also have strong communication skills and be comfortable dealing with operations staff at all levels. Available to start quickly, you will be happy to commit to a minimum of 3 months.
