Job Details

The successful Management Accountant will be crucial to the management accounting process, month-end reporting and the year-end statutory accounts & audit. They will also play a big part in business partnering with exposure to senior members of the company as well as driving improvements.

Description

The key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:

  • Responsibility of vital month-end tasks, including P&L variance analysis, reporting & business reviews of departments
  • Business partnering
  • Playing leading role in delivery of year end statutory audit (group & subsidiaries)
  • Liaising & managing relationship with auditors
  • Assists and provides analysis to support budget preparations

Other responsibilities include:

  • Providing analysis & insight when preparing board packs
  • Responsibility for accruals & prepayments
  • Revaluates Forex
  • Prepares and posts journals to the general ledger
  • Responsibility for the Perspective Risk entity payroll
  • Supporting process improvements

Profile

The successful Management Accountant will be:

  • Qualified (ACA, CIMA, ACCA, etc.)
  • Experienced in month-end & audit
  • Ambitious
  • Great communication skills
  • Experienced with Excel
  • Driven, with the ability to work to deadlines
