A successful and highly reputable firm of chartered accountants based in Exeter has a requirement for a Business Services Manager to join their team as a key addition, in a pivotal support role to the directors/partners, taking on full portfolio management responsibility and delivery of wide ranging services with excellent career progression on offer.
Client Details
Based in Exeter this chartered firm acts for very wide ranging clients across varying industries acting for wide ranging industry sector sole trader, partnerships and limited company OMBs, SMEs with clients ranging from start ups, smaller sole traders and limited companies into the £millions of turnover whilst also acting for a significant number or larger clients across larger corporates with turnovers range of £10 - £100 million plus. The firm also acts for charities, not for profit and academies. The firm is undergoing very positive, ongoing growth creating an environment with clear progression paths on offer for those seeking a route to develop in their careers.
Description
Joining as Business Services Manager based from the firms Exeter offices you will have chance to carve a career within this successful firm with progression on offer for those looking for path to progress from this level potentially, whilst all to be explored around the motivations and fit of the right person. You will lead and manage the delivery of accounts, tax and wider general practice services to clients across varied industries up to around £10million or so in turnover on largest clients developing client relationships, managing a team and work on wider advisory, planning projects in addition delivering on wider project work. You will have opportunity to progress and carve an influential role within this firm.
Profile
You will be ACA/ACCA qualified, or equivalent with a career background developed within accountancy practice, with skills across any mix of audit, accounts, tax and all around, general accountancy practice service delivery. You will have worked with any mix of wide ranging sole trade, partnership and limited company clients, larger corporates/charities/not for profit clients etc. Your career will have been developed within an accountancy practice firm environment of any size from small, independent accounting firm background, through to Top Tier firms. If you have been more focused in audit working on larger corporates/charity, NFP clients etc but interested to move into acting for growing, smaller clients developing relationships and carving a career down this route, this can also work equally well. You will have developed your career to the Managerial levels and be looking for a career move and role where you can develop and progress within your career.
Job Offer
Circa £36,000 - £48,000 dependent on the background experience and level of the right professional.
