Job Details
As a Commercial Finance Manager within this business, you will be responsible for leading finance business partnering to the company's House Plants & Flowers unit. You will provide to support, as well as hold to account, a team to ensure quality financial plans are developed and delivered.

Description
As a Commercial Finance Manager, your duties will include, but may not be limited to;
- Business partner the business unit senior management team.
- P&L ownership for end-to-end performance of the business unit.
- Lead on the planning and forecasting processes for the business unit, ensuring reliability and accuracy of the plans and forecasts delivered to timelines in place.
- Attend and lead on regular performance reviews with senior stakeholders in order to review cost performance vs plan, strategic initiative delivery and overall P&L performance.
- Drive consistent and clear reporting on a weekly and monthly basis to show true underlying performance vs plan and forecast.
- Weekly review of costs v forecast, with product cost prices adjusted weekly to ensure the most accurate cost prices are charged.
- Leadership and development of Commercial Finance Analysts.
Profile
- Qualified accountant (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) - Qualified by experience candidates will also be considered.
- Hands on and detail-oriented approach.
- Ability to build strong relationships across the business.
- Relevant industry experience (FMCG/Manufacturing/Floral) desirable.
- IT proficiency with core accounting systems (Microsoft dynamics, Anaplan - desirable).
