About the team

PwC’s Viewpoint has a dedicated team that oversees all site operations, incorporating content management, sales and marketing, and knowledge management, and is owned by the firm’s Audit practice. This role will primarily sit in the content management sphere; the successful applicant will work alongside several other associates and senior associates, and report directly to the content senior manager. The Viewpoint team is part of the Audit Risk & Quality Business Unit (ARQ).

About the role

The role of the Viewpoint team administrator is to perform a variety of support tasks to update and maintain PwC’s flagship technical website Viewpoint (viewpoint.pwc.com). They predominantly use the site’s content management system to process internal and external content, producing a professional output that is consistent with the PwC brand and reflects the excellence that the firm aspires to in all aspects. The Viewpoint administrator also ensures that all pages are populated with accurate metadata, in order to optimise site functionality and enable users to quickly find materials most relevant to them.

Additional elements of the role include creation of periodic internal and external email communications and administering their corresponding mailing lists; co-ordinating the upkeep of external content via our third-party provider; and assisting with ad-hoc content creation and formatting improvements. There will also be opportunities to support the sales & marketing and knowledge management teams on a further range of administrative activities. The nature of the role means that time allocation to these tasks will fluctuate based on the team’s current obligations.

Responsibilities

  • Create, update and maintain website content as required, including metadata, formatting, linking and transformation from other sources.

  • Collate content from Viewpoint into email formats to be shared with various audiences, and submit for review by their relevant stakeholders.

  • Administer email mailing lists and undertake similar supporting processes.

  • Co-ordinate the upkeep of external content via our third-party provider.

  • Assist with testing of new system features and enhancements.

  • Support the wider Viewpoint team and respective Audit practice in their production of accounting and auditing publications.

Required skills and experience

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Ability to work well under pressure and communicate with staff at all levels, with a strong focus on quickly developing new relationships and understanding business needs.

  • Clear organisation and flexible approach, being able to balance several tasks concurrently and prioritise their respective completion.

  • Determination and self-drive to work diligently on significant repetitive tasks, finding motivation in their collective impact.

  • Basic understanding of Google G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets, Drive, Meet), as well as Word, Excel and PDFs.

  • A keen interest in websites and technology, or knowledge of XHTML/Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) is desired but not essential.

  • At PwC, empowered flexibility means our people can decide their most effective working pattern, and the times they work on any given day. Our expectation is that on average between 40-60% of time will be spent co-located with colleagues in an office, as part of a blended working approach.
