Job Details

Responsible for the design and delivery of regulatory risk and compliance assurance testing reviews which will evaluate both theirs and their client's exposure to regulatory and CMA compliance and conduct risk.

Description

  • Responsible for designing and delivering assurance reviews to provide independent assurance to the Board and the relevant Senior Manager Functions (SMFs) regarding regulatory compliance and conduct risks of the 1LOD business.
  • Responsible for designing and delivering the reviews within the timeline set out within the Compliance Monitoring Plan (CMP) and aligned to the Compliance Monitoring Framework and in line with CFPL's Enterprise Risk Management Framework (ERMF).
  • Performing independent assurance reviews, diligently and comprehensively to assess how CFPL consistently delivers fair customer outcomes and meets regulatory requirements, to support safe growth and protect CFPL from regulatory and conduct risks associated with its business activity.
  • To provide clarity to all stakeholders at each stage of the assurance review of the process and their engagement to promote a culture of positive collaboration.
  • Completing timely, high quality reports that clearly articulate the conclusions of the assurance activity that are appropriately risk rated with clear detail on the recommendations required to mitigate any regulatory and conduct risk.
  • Maintain accurate records in relation to open findings and actions. Track and report the progress of open actions escalating any issues including missed deadlines.
  • Effective assess the evidence submitted by business areas to close findings and individual actions and make appropriate recommendations accordingly.
