About the firm

Royce Peeling Green is a well-established, independent firm of chartered accountants based in central Manchester.  The vacancies with our audit team have come about due to internal promotion and growth of the firm’s overall business and specifically the audit business.  The firm has plans for further growth and was joined in 2021 by Crawfords Chartered Accountants which has provided the springboard to strengthen and develop the firm’s position still further.  The client base is primarily owner managed businesses ranging up to those with revenues in excess of £500m.  We work across a number of industry sectors.

The role

We are looking to recruit two qualified audit seniors (ACA or ACCA).

The roles will be based in our office in central Manchester with the majority of time being spent at clients’ premises which are primarily in the North West but could be further afield.

Our audit client base is largely OMBs, not for profit organisations including some public interest entities and UK subsidiaries of foreign groups, generally reporting under FRS 102.

As an audit senior, you will take a leading role from planning through to completion, ensuring that deadlines are achieved, while managing the junior members of the team.

About you

You should be ACA or ACCA qualified or a finalist and have a strong track record in auditing in a similar environment.  Good accounting skills are also required. Time management will be a core skill as you will generally be involved with a number of assignments at any one time. The roles involve strong teamwork as well as direct interaction with clients so self-confidence and good interpersonal skills are essential.

Regular technical and soft skills training is provided and we provide great opportunities for progression and development and a rewarding long term career with RPG.

In return

You will receive a competitive salary subject to annual merit based reviews plus additional benefits.  We have flexible working hours within a seven hour working day and have adopted a hybrid work approach of two days home and three days in the office unless at clients’ premises.  Work/ life balance is important to us and our people and a key benefit of a career at RPG.  We’re also a great place to work with regular social activities.

How to apply

If you are interested in this role, we’d love to hear from you.  Please click on the “apply now” button and send us your up to date CV and covering letter. Otherwise you can email your CV and covering letter to info@rpg.co.uk

Closing date: Friday 2nd September
