An exciting global technology company in the Hampshire / Surrey area are looking to recruit a fixed term Group Financial Controller. This listed organisation is a leader in its field and has a creative and aspiring vision that would suit someone that enjoys working in a team. With this smart corporate environment comes flexible hybrid working with a minimum of 2 days in the office and the opportunity to grow within the company.

Your new role
Reporting to a passionate, supportive Group Finance Director, you will be given scope to develop in the role. Duties will include leading the Group Finance and Head Office Finance teams, preparing monthly management accounts and consolidation of the financial results acting as the main point of contact with regards to the auditors. as well as this, you will be the technical expert in your team to ensure all other members are aware of what is expected of them and work on a range of ad-hoc tasks from a technical standpoint. You will also develop reporting processes to streamline reporting to the board. You will have the autonomy to improve and optimise processes in your area.

What you'll need to succeed
You will be an ACCA or ACA qualified accountant with at least 6 years of post-qualification experience, encompassing detailed IFRS, consolidation and valuation experience. Experience in management software systems would be highly favoured. You will need to be able to work under pressure in a team, hence good communication skills, as well as the ability to work on your own where required.
