IT Projects Lead
About the Team
Within Technology, Data & Analytics our Cloud Programmes team helps organisations manage the risk of moving to cloud based solutions/applications. For some we take on key delivery roles or a role to deliver specific workstreams, such as security and controls and others we will assure the overall project or programme.
Either taking a project management or PMO role on IT delivery projects, or be part of a team providing assurance over IT projects.
For the Project Manager/PMO roles you will:
Develop detailed project and programme plan
Drive project activities, holding team members to account
Monitor project progress, project activities/tasks and budget;
Develop and manage relationships with key client stakeholders
For Project Assurance roles you will:
Assess project progress against plan and/or key milestones
Identify risks and issues with the project and agree these and remediation plans with the project leadership
Document findings and recommendations in reports which are released to client management.
You will also have people responsibilities which will include:
Developing junior team members through effective coaching and supervision
Creating a positive and inclusive team environment
Have 3-4 years of project management and/or scrum master experience.
Experience of project management of a cloud application.
Able to own and drive project planning activities but also to own and drive project plans and budgets on engagements.
Experience of report writing in business language.
Relationship building and management
Experience of project assurance (not essential)
Team development and leadership.
Business development/sales experience.
