Our client are based in Fareham, and boast over 80 years of manufacturing and production experience, reinforcing their world leader status. Their finance team is growing, paving the way for a driven Financial Accountant to join.
Description
The Financial Accountant responsibilities:
- Liaise with external auditors and internal support functions to ensure timely delivery of statutory accounts
- Support local finance teams and FBS accountants with month-end process
- Balance sheet review and report
- Account reconciliations
- General ledger accounting and review
- Month end closing journal entries
- Manual journal entries check and documentation
Profile
The successful Financial Accountant:
- A degree in Accounting or Finance and related fields such as Business Administration or Public Administration
- Additional accounting and / or auditing courses (desirable)
- A recognised accounting qualification (eg. CIMA, ACMA or ACCA) or QB
- Knowledge of professional accounting principles and practices preferable gained with Professional Auditor
- Adaptable and a keen team player
