Senior Accountant - Small General Practice Accountancy Firm based in Central London

Your new company
A small general practice firm are looking to hire a Senior Accountant to join the firms London office. The firm works with a number of individuals and small businesses from across London to provide a number of accounting, tax advice and business advisory services.

Your new role
In your new role as a Senior Accountant you'll be a core member of the team and will be involved in managing clients, conducting client meetings, assisting management in making firm decisions and undertaking accounting and tax work for a variety of individuals and SMEs.

As a Senior Accountant you will be responsible for:

• Preparing limited company accounts, tax returns and bookkeeping jobs
• Reviewing financial statements to present back to the client
• Conduct client meetings with new and existing clients
• Confidently offer clients additional services and identify new fees
• Acting as the main point of contact for client enquiries
• Supervising a small team of juniors in the office and overseas ensuring all work is completed accurately

What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this position you will be an ACA or ACCA Qualified/Finalist or Qualified-by-experience accountant with the ability to produce accounts and tax returns. You will be proficient using cloud based systems and will have the confidence to train and advise clients on the systems.
