A highly reputable and growing firm of chartered accountants is searching for a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager to join the firm based in their Truro offices. As a key part of the future planning and development of the firms tax service offering the firm is looking to bolster their team with career focused tax professionals right across the managerial and senior managerial levels, mouldable around the right individuals strengths, preferences and areas of expertise. The firm offers a mix of home to office working, flexible hours, with highly competitive remuneration and benefit packages. Full Time and Part time hours can be equally be explored.

Description

You will join the team as a Tax Manager / Senior Tax Manager based in Truro in a role and firm offering superb progression and career development potential.
The client base, role and level will be largely mouldable around the background of the right professionals, so for professionals with technical skills across both personal and corporate tax, you could work with a mixed tax portfolio, delivering and managing compliance services, whilst largely undertaking an advisory focused role, delivering wide ranging project work across both personal and corporate tax to OMBs, corporate clients and private clients, directors and HNWIs. Or for those professionals focused almost entirely down the corporate tax route, or personal tax route your client base can be moulded accordingly around your areas of current expertise, strength and preference to offer an entirely corporate tax portfolio, or private client/personal tax portfolio accordingly. So dependent on your skill set as part of the role you will be responsible for managing and overseeing the provision of compliance services, to a highly varied client base, supporting and developing a team of tax professionals. Alongside this the focus will be on managing a portfolio of clients developing relationships and delivering complex advisory and planning services to key clients across a wide range of tax projects. You will also be tasked with developing and growing the advisory tax function and will have a clear progression path on offer, within this leading firm of chartered accountants.

Profile

Ideally CTA and/or, ATT/ACA/ACCA qualified, you will be an enthusiastic self-motivated team player, with strong people management skills and excellent tax technical skills having developed your career within accountancy practice. Your experience will have been developed in any mix of Top Tier, Top Ten, 50, larger regional independent firm background, or specialist tax firm and your background may be across mixed tax, or have focused entirely down the personal tax or corporate tax route to date.

Job Offer
